Biografy
Alejandra Gonsebatt was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She studied in the Faculty of Fine Arts of the National University of La Plata, obtaining the title of Bachelor and Professor of Fine Arts. Later she participated in the Summer School of the National University of Santiago de Chile. From 1986 to 1988 she studied at the Berlin Academy of Arts (painting and engraving). In Munich it acquitted a training in screen design and publication in Internet.
In Argentina, she worked as an Assistant of the chairs of Drawing and Painting of the Faculty of Fine Arts, UNLP and in the cultural department of the Buenos Aires government as director of several courses of art and cultural projects.
In 2000 she obtained a scholarship at the Bauhaus Kolleg (Bauhaus Dessau Foundation), participating in the project “Urban Cell” (international design of an urban plot in the Jacarezinho favela, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil).
As an artist, Alejandra Gonsebatt works with video, photography and painting. She has exhibited in Argentina, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Brazil and Italy.
