Metaphorical use of the term “gold”
With gold, which stands for valuable and precious, one also designates other valuable things. Usually, an adjective is put before it, such as “black gold” for oil. Words and sayings in which gold occurs are, in their meaning, mostly positively or euphemistically.
With gold, which stands for valuable and precious, one also designates other valuable things… I deal with the value that today’s society gives to some things. What is valuable today?
I paint with gold things, which for me have an individual value: nature; The freedom to choose where to live; Respect and respect for the “other”; The compassion; The life and the possibility with dignity to live for all to this world…
